Toronto Use-Case Mission
Ontario's steel, chemicals and materials plants run continuous processes where small drifts turn into expensive scrap and energy bills. This summit helps process manufacturers find the AI use cases that keep quality on target and lower energy use, using the historian and lab data they already have.
Each summit is capped at 40 participants: operations, engineering, plant and digital leaders from manufacturing, oil & gas and energy companies, alongside STAGE-X engineers. No sales decks. Real use cases, the data behind them, and working prototypes from STAGE-X Residency teams.
Use-Case Sessions
November 21–22, 2026 • Full-Day Program
-
Use Case 01 QUALITY
Predicting Product Quality Before the Lab Does
Soft sensors that estimate quality from live process data, so operators can correct drift hours before lab results arrive.
-
Use Case 02 ENERGY
Lower Energy per Tonne
Finding where furnaces, kilns, compressors and boilers waste energy, and recommending setpoints that operators approve.
-
Use Case 03 OPERATIONS
Root Cause of Off-Spec Batches
Searching process history to explain why a batch went off-spec and what to change next time.
